Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chickin Lickin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JerJer Foley!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lickin wants to clinch up but Foley keeps it at a distance.
Foley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lickin scores with a sloppy right hand. Foley should have avoided that one.
Foley is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lickin steps into range and cracks Foley with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Foley flops backwards and Lickin dives into his guard looking to finish!


Foley is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lickin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Foley is still in real trouble! Can Lickin finish him?
Lickin wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.
Lickin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Foley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lickin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lickin is looking to stand up but Foley won't let him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Foley keeping full guard, as Lickin tries to pass.
Lickin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Foley seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lickin wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lickin is working Foley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Lickin lands a couple of elbows.
Lickin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lickin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lickin tries to free his leg and advance position but Foley is retaining full guard.

Lickin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lickin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lickin lands a couple of digs.
Lickin wants to stand but Foley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Lickin wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foley keeping full guard, as Lickin tries to pass.
Lickin trying to control but Foley is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lickin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chickin Lickin.
Foley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lickin gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Foley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chickin Lickin!
After the fight, Chickin Lickin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
