PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humma Kavula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hardcore Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardcore Holly told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavula throws a solid leg kick but Holly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kavula.
Kavula is looking to chop away at Holly's legs.
Holly misses with a body kick.
Holly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holly tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kavula is able to avoid easily.
Kavula avoids a kick to the body.
Holly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kavula.
Kavula moves out of range of the body kick from Holly.
Holly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kavula feints and then cracks Holly's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holly down.

Holly steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kavula. That one must have hurt.

Kavula on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kavula chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Holly can pounce on him.
Holly lands with a slapping head kick.
Kavula throws a sloppy head kick and Holly moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Holly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kavula.

Kavula throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kavula lands a big head kick that sends Holly tumbling to the mat! Kavula takes a step backwards and waves Holly back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hardcore Holly has been cut.
Holly throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kavula feints a jab and as Holly dips his head, Kavula unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Holly right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Holly falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Kavula smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

A very excited looking Humma Kavula made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
