PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fubar Pogue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Decimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pogue comes to the cage accompanied by Deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff. Decimus has chosen All Shall Perish- Eradication as his entrance music. Maximus Decimus is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximus Decimus!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pogue takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Decimus fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Decimus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Decimus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pogue is trying to defend but Decimus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pogue looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pogue tries to kick Decimus off in order to stand up. Decimus Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Pogue is working to avoid the ground and pound but Decimus connects with a decent elbow.
Decimus misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You get the feeling that Pogue really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Decimus connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Decimus wants to control the pace but Pogue is squirming around nicely.

Decimus wants to finish this one by submission but Pogue is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Decimus.

Decimus postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pogue badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Decimus around the waist but Decimus pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Decimus is the winner by TKO! Decimus jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
