The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Baleia is fending him off so far but Carolus persists. Nope, Da Baleia circles away and we're back to standing.
Da Baleia bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Diederik Carolus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da Baleia fails to land with a series of punches.
Da Baleia closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carolus did well to prevent Da Baleia getting side control.
