The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen shoots in for a takedown but Leonardo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jensen throws a jab when Leonardo was well out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Leonardo.
Jensen throws an overhand right that lands on Leonardo's shoulder, as Leonardo tries to avoid the shot.
Jensen shoots in for a double leg but Leonardo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Leonardo misses with a few strikes there.
Leonardo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jensen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Leonardo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
