PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Sid DiBiase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pale Ale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Sid DiBiase has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sid DiBiase seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiBiase keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
DiBiase connects with a jab.
DiBiase throws a low kick but Ale moves out of range easily.
Ale misses with a looping left.
DiBiase throws a lazy right hand but Ale sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
DiBiase scores with the left hand. Ale knows he should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Pale Ale's cut even more.

DiBiase closes the distance and pushes Ale back into the ropes.
DiBiase lands with a light punch inside.
DiBiase lands an uppercut.
Ale tries to break free but DiBiase pushes him back against the ropes.
DiBiase throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ale blocks it with crossed arms.
DiBiase digs a right hand underneath Ale's ribcage. Ale let out a lung full of air as it connected.
DiBiase lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ale backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from DiBiase.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ale takes a shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DiBiase lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
DiBiase tries to land a knee to the head but Ale blocks with his arms.
DiBiase is working Ale over against the ropes.
DiBiase lands with a short punch from the clinch.
DiBiase lands a shoulder strike.

The cut above Pale Ale's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
DiBiase looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Still in the clinch, DiBiase scores with a nice short uppercut.
DiBiase has Ale pushed against the ropes.
DiBiase keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ale's efforts to push away.
A nice right hand lands inside from DiBiase.

Ale is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
DiBiase lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
DiBiase lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ale backwards.
DiBiase scores with a nice hook to the head.
DiBiase lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Pale Ale's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!
DiBiase lands a shot to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

DiBiase working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
DiBiase lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ale feints and then cracks DiBiase's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow DiBiase down.
A telegraphed right hand from Ale misses the target.

DiBiase gets in close and instigates a clinch.
DiBiase lands with a short head shot on the inside.
DiBiase lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ale backwards.

DiBiase works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
DiBiase prevents Ale from breaking the clinch.
Ale has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
