Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toni Rajamaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Sun Shine!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Shine misses.
A slow jab from Shine misses its intended target.
Rajamaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shine paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shine looks for the body kick but Rajamaki saw that one coming.
Nice body punch from Shine.
Shine misses with a double jab.
Rajamaki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rajamaki moves into the clinch.
Shine lands a nice uppercut.

Rajamaki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shine misses with a series of wild punches.
Shine misses with a series of wild punches.
Shine misses with a two punch combination.
Shine pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shine throws a body punch but Rajamaki moves out of range.
Shine looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shine misses with a looping right.
Rajamaki tries to clinch there but Shine circles away.

Rajamaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Shine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rajamaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Shine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rajamaki connects with the punch.
Rajamaki works Shine's body with a nice hook.
A punch combination from Shine misses.
Shine throws a head kick that misses.
Sun Shine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Shine lands a nice shot that snaps Rajamaki's head back.

Rajamaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Shine throws a series of punches but Rajamaki avoids them all with ease.
Sun Shine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Rajamaki has knocked Shine down with a huge combo! Rajamaki steps away and waves a wobbly Shine back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Shine is rocked!


It looks like Sun Shine has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rajamaki blocks a head kick by Shine.
Shine is still on wobbly legs! Can Rajamaki finish him?
Rajamaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shine but Shine pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rajamaki is looking to clinch but Shine is avoiding it.
Shine throws an off balance right hand

and Rajamaki moves into the clinch.

Rajamaki pulls guard successfully.

Rajamaki has his foot on Shine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shine works his way back into a safe position though.

Rajamaki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rajamaki is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Shine has his hands clasped together but Rajamaki extends an breaks Shine's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rajamaki.
