PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristain Garnaca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slater might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Terminator Theme. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater fails with an attempt to clinch.

Garnaca tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Garnaca has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Garnaca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slater can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Slater would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Garnaca manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Garnaca quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Garnaca but it's paid off an Slater is forced to tap! Nice work by Garnaca.
