The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands with a good body shot.
Brown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hardy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Brown is trying to break the clinch but Hardy is controlling him.
Hardy wants a takedown.

Brown breaks the clinch.
Brown lands with a straight right. Hardy didn't see that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hardy dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Hardy's head and hops out.
Hardy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hardy somewhat.
John Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Hardy.
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hardy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Jeff Hardy has been cut.
Hardy looks gassed!

Brown wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Brown shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hardy eats them both and turns towards Brown to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Brown lands with a straight right. Hardy didn't see that one coming.

Brown scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.

Brown drops Hardy with a beautiful combination! Hardy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brown is looking for the KO!

Hardy is rocked!
Brown looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Brown backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Hardy's temple! It sends Hardy violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Brown celebrates and the doctors try to help Hardy!
