The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ashton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torje has given up his back.
Torje trying to control the position but Ashton manages to sink in the hooks.

Ashton is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Torje defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Torje is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Ashton off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Torje is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ashton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ashton has escaped and now he's on top!

Ashton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Torje manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ashton has Torje in his guard.

Torje lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
No luck for Ashton with that takedown attempt.
A clash of legs there as Torje blocks the low kick.
Torje cracks Ashton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Torje cracks Ashton with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ashton tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Torje pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ashton is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
