Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collaterly Scoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collaterly Scoba has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ivan Drago's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Collaterly Scoba!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drago pushes Scoba up against the cage in a clinch.
Scoba changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Drago fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Scoba feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Scoba connects with a couple of short punches.
Scoba must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Drago manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scoba manages to get himself to full guard.

Drago wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scoba keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Drago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Scoba is looking to work some ground and pound but Drago has wrist control.

Drago is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Scoba loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Scoba trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Scoba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drago works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Scoba tries to roll over but Drago keeps him under control.

Scoba flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scoba tries to get to full guard but Drago has control of the leg.
Scoba lands with a few short shots to the body.
Drago is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Scoba is looking for a sweep. Drago is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Scoba bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Scoba is thwarting Drago's attempts to control the position.
Drago is trying to stand up here but Scoba is controlling him well.

Drago is trying to control the position but Scoba postures up.

Drago not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drago controlling the position.
Drago controls Scoba momentarily but Scoba frees himself.
Drago manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

A close round but Collaterly Scoba will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Scoba closes the distance and clinches up with Drago, looking for a takedown. Scoba pushes Drago against the cage but Drago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Drago swats away the attempt to clinch by Scoba.
Drago has his takedown stuffed

and Scoba counters with a takedown into side control.
Drago can't do much from the bottom here.
Drago sneaks back into half guard.
Drago wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scoba looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Drago wants to get back to full guard.

Drago is pressing down on Scoba's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Drago bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Scoba's guard.
Drago is looking to stand up but Scoba won't let him.
Scoba is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Scoba is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Drago is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Drago won't allow Scoba to sweep him here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Scoba keeping moving, preventing Drago from controlling successfully.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Scoba changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drago looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Collaterly Scoba has got the better of the ground game so far.

Drago wants to control from the top but Scoba keeps moving.

Scoba pushes Drago off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Scoba tries to keep at a distance but Drago has taken the fight into the clinch.
Scoba looking for a takedown.

Drago manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Drago is on top in guard.
Drago trying to control but Scoba is working from the bottom.

Drago gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Drago clinches with his opponent.

Drago breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Drago rushes Scoba and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Collaterly Scoba will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Scoba takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scoba moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Scoba shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Scoba was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Drago manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Drago wants to improve his position but Scoba is controlling well.
Scoba is nestled in close to Drago, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.


Drago is rocked!

Drago on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Oh Drago is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ground and pound from Scoba.
Scoba lands a big elbow - Drago is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Scoba!
