Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Furzon!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Furzon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones is looking to slow Furzon down with leg kicks.
Furzon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That kick from Jones tenderised Furzon's leg. Furzon is trying to keep his angry face on.
Furzon moves to clinch but Jones breaks away

and Jones counters by clinching up.

Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Furzon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

John Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
