The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist shoots and misses

and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jackson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fist is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fist has escaped and now he's on top!

Jackson has his foot on Fist's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fist works his way back into a safe position though.

Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fist won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hammer Fist. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fist keeps working.
Fist sneaks back into half guard.
Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fist sees it coming and defends easily.

Fist is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.

Jackson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fist to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jackson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fist pulls down on the head and he's put Jackson to sleep! This one is all over!
