Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludo Kopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Fire storm. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludo Kopper!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Ken Hall has been cut.

Hall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kopper did well to prevent Hall getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kopper pushes Hall off but Hall dives into side control.

Kopper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kopper slaps away a takedown attempt from Hall, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Kopper gets caught flat footed, as Hall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kopper works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kopper wants to sweep here but Hall controlling him for the moment.

Hall working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kopper's head.
Hall throws a big elbow that misses.

Hall stands up and waves to Kopper to follow him.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ken Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall shoots in and drives through. Kopper sprawls well.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kopper as he avoids it easily.
Hall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kopper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hall somewhat.

Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kopper connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet.

A solid leg kick lands there for Hall.
Hall has a takedown stuffed.

Kopper sends Hall crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kopper is motioning to the referee to let Hall up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hall looks for a takedown but Kopper sprawls well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hall shoots in looking for a takedown but Kopper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hall slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Kopper.
Hall is nestled in close to Kopper, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kopper misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kopper tries to kick Hall off but Hall keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kopper can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hall stands up from half guard.
Kopper scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


Ken Hall's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Kopper lands a big right hand that sends Hall crashing to the mat! Kopper stays standing though and waves Hall back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kopper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hall drives through and clinches with Kopper against the cage.

Hall pulls guard successfully.
Hall wants to stand and escape but Kopper is having none of it.
Hall is adopting a defensive guard.
Hall wants to control the position but Kopper says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Ken Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hall kicks Kopper off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ludo Kopper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Hall moves into the clinch successfully.

Hall wants the takedown. Kopper is fighting it off but Hall persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kopper's guard against the cage.
Kopper wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hall wants to control from the top but Kopper keeps moving.

Hall with a flurry of punches that miss.

Hall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kopper is adopting a defensive guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kopper connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


Jeez, Ken Hall's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Nice defenses there by Kopper.
Kopper jabs Hall right on the nose. Hall blinks but takes it well.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ken Hall's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ludo Kopper!
