Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Green was covering up waiting for the punch and James finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Green will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
James gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Green tries to clinch but James moves away
and James moves into the clinch.
James turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

James has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

James has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Green off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from James.
James clinches with his opponent.
James ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. James no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Green is fighting to break James's control of his arms but James is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
James wriggles free and stands up.

James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. James connects with a nice short shot to Green's temple.
James wants to work for an arm triangle but Green is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Green on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Green is trying to control but can't.

James takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. James lands a nice short elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James lands a big shot to the head and Green winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
