Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willians Obina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Obina might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ai se eu te pego. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales looks to score with a jab to the body but Obina is just out of range.
Obina fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzales avoids it really well and circles away.
Obina takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Willians Obina has been cut.

Gonzales bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gonzales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Obina doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gonzales makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Gonzales dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Gonzales counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willians Obina. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gonzales tries to land a front kick but Obina steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gonzales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gonzales uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Obina with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gonzales to score with a decent uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Obina. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Obina shoots for a double leg takedown but Gonzales sprawls well. He's pushed Obina's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Obina blocks a head kick by Gonzales.

Gonzales sends Obina crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gonzales is motioning to the referee to let Obina up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Obina is rocked!

Willians Obina's cut is getting worse.
Gonzales jabs Obina to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Obina is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevie Gonzales is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Obina is breathing heavily.
Gonzales lands a slapping body shot.
Obina takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Obina seems to have got his legs back now.
Gonzales throws a half hearted mid kick.

Obina switches off momentarily and Gonzales cracks him with a monster right hand! Obina topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Gonzales dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Gonzales!
