Walker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by wanted dead or alive. Rio Vegas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wade Walker's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wade Walker!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker dodges the punch combination from Vegas.
Vegas swinging wildly here.
Wade Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vegas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Walker wants to clinch up but Vegas keeps it at a distance.

Walker closes the distance and pushes Vegas back into the cage.

Walker has Vegas pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Walker pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vegas tumbling to the mat - Walker dives into Vegas's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Walker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vegas on the side of the head.

Walker lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Vegas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Walker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vegas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Vegas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vegas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Walker stands up from Vegas's guard - Walker perhaps looking for a knockout.
Vegas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walker lands an overhand right.
Walker scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Walker misses the target.
Walker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vegas momentarily.
Vegas lands a body shot.
Vegas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Vegas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walker manages to avoid it.

Vegas misses with a wild body shot.

Walker slips a jab and a cross from Vegas.

Walker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vegas defends it well.
Vegas tries to roll over but Walker keeps him under control.

Vegas is defending against the submission attempts here by Walker.

Walker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vegas sees it coming and defends easily.

Walker decides to return to a standing position.
Walker thows a left - swing and a miss!
Walker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vegas but Vegas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walker tries to clinch up.
Walker dodges the punch combination from Vegas.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vegas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Walker.
Walker lands with a kick to the temple. Vegas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Vegas on the wrong end of a nice hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Wade Walker seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Vegas is rocked!
Rio Vegas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walker slips a jab and a cross from Vegas.
Vegas misses with a lunging right hand
and Walker counters with a two punch combo.
Oh Vegas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walker throws a leg kick which misses Vegas's front leg but catches the back leg as Vegas tries to avoid it.
Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vegas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vegas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker.
Vegas seems to have got his legs back now.
Walker misses with a hook. Vegas ducked under it nicely.
Walker lands a big head kick that sends Vegas to the canvas! Walker follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wade Walker!
