Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Stann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Beucher!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stann sizes up Beucher with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Stann swings widly with a right hand
and Beucher counters with a right hand to the body.
Beucher moves away from the strike by Stann.
Beucher shoots in for a takedown but Stann shows good takedown defense.
Beucher shoots in for a double leg but Stann sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Beucher jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stann throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Beucher throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A swing and a miss from Beucher.
Stann misses with a looping left.
A jab from Stann does it's job there.
Beucher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dan Stann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Beucher.
Stann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beucher was well out of range. Poor timing from Stann.

Stann dips to his left and cracks Beucher with an uppercut!
Stann looks to throw the jab but Beucher is out of range.
Beucher takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stann lands a jab to Beucher's midsection.
Stann misses with a jab, cross combination.
Beucher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Beucher doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stann just misses with a punch to the body.
Stann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beucher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stann lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stann connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Beucher's hands.

Stann misses the shot to the body.
Stann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beucher was well out of range. Poor timing from Stann.
A telegraphed right hand from Stann misses the target.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stann changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beucher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stann is looking to take a break and control but Beucher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stann throws a strike aimed at the side of Beucher's head but Beucher avoids it well.
Stann trying to control the position but Beucher is working away.
Beucher can't do much from the bottom here.
Stann fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Stann passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Beucher!
Stann throws a wild left hand from mount and Beucher manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.

Stann is keen to just control but Beucher is a slippery customer.

Stann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beucher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Dan Stann wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Beucher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stann tries to escape but Beucher is in control.
Stann on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stann tries to get out of the position.

Beucher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stann keeps working.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stann bucks up and tries to throw Beucher off but instead Beucher has got his back!
Stann covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Beucher throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Stann!
Stann has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Beucher.
Stann is trying to get back to his feet but Beucher has full control of the position and if anything, Stann has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Beucher.
Stann trying to get back to his feet but Beucher is in full control for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Stann avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Beucher fails with a takedown attempt.
Stann pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Stann darts in and clinches Beucher up against the cage.
Stann wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Beucher has him pressed against the cage.
Beucher stalling in the clinch but Stann improves position.

Beucher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beucher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stann. Stann circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Dan Stann has been cut.
Stann fails to land with a series of punches.
Beucher slips a jab from Stann.
Beucher drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Stann misses with a takedown attempt - Beucher sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A decent looking cross lands there for Stann.
Stann connects with a crisp jab.
Stann throws a lazy uppercut
and Beucher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A punch combination from Beucher misses.
Stann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Beucher takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Beucher missing with a left hand there. Stann was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A lazy left from Stann finds it's target.
Beucher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stann is fending him off so far but Beucher persists. Nope, Stann circles away and we're back to standing.

and Beucher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beucher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Beucher throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Beucher tries to bum rush Stann with a series of wild strikes but Stann uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beucher throws an off balance right hand
and Stann counters with a two punch combo.
Stann moves into range and connects with a jab.
Beucher misses the shot to the body.
Beucher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stann.
Dan Stann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beucher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stann lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stann slips under a jab from Beucher.
Beucher misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stann scores with a crisp jab that stopped Beucher in his tracks.
Stann lands a body shot.
Beucher fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Stann shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Beucher eats them both and turns towards Stann to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Stann closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Beucher! Stann dives in looking to finish! Beucher is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
