Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edwin Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vangaard shoots in for a double leg but Sagat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sagat trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Sagat working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Sagat lands with a hammerfist to the side of Vangaard's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sagat looking to break Vangaard's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Vangaard remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sagat will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vangaard wants to control his opponent's hands but Sagat gets his hands free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edwin Sagat dominated that round.
That's time! Vangaard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sagat is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vangaard is just riding it out for now. Sagat eventually gives up the hold.

Sagat is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Vangaard is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sagat's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sagat's back!

Vangaard has his arm under Sagat's chin here. Game over son! Vangaard squeezes tightly and Sagat is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). David Vangaard!
After the fight, David Vangaard was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
