The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staunton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shaw lands a nice looking body shot.

Shaw rushes Staunton and presses him up against the cage.

Staunton is trying to pull guard but Shaw has him pressed against the cage.

Shaw works on Staunton's body with a couple of short punches.
Staunton is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Staunton jumps guard but Shaw turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Staunton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Staunton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shaw smiles and moves away.

Shaw wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shaw scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Shaw cracks Staunton with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Staunton looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shaw finish him?

Staunton is rocked!

Shaw fakes the body blow, causing Staunton to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Staunton goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
