Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Bulger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Crackcorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crackcorn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bulger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crackcorn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crackcorn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bulger manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crackcorn has Bulger in his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bulger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

A close round but Johnny Crackcorn will probably get the nod.

Bulger is taking a breather. Crackcorn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bulger is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crackcorn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bulger.

Bulger uses his free foot to push down on Crackcorn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Crackcorn.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
