The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Da Silva wants to control from the top but Marko keeps moving.

Da Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marko has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Da Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Marko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Da Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marko has managed to get both his arms back between Da Silva's legs - danger averted.
