Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarmo Suulas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suulas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hollywood Undead - Undead. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Machin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tarmo Suulas!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machin dives in and scores a takedown into Suulas's guard.
Suulas is trying to keep Machin in close.
Machin wants to control from the top but Suulas keeps moving.

Machin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Suulas looking for a sweep. Not yet Suulas, not yet.
Suulas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Suulas looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Machin wants to pass the guard but Suulas is keeping the position.
Machin throwing strikes but missing.
Machin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Machin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suulas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Suulas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tarmo Suulas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Machin fails with a takedown attempt.
Machin fails to land the takedown.
Machin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Suulas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Machin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Suulas tries to pass to full mount but Machin defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machin is looking to control Suulas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Machin avoid being mounted?

Suulas is looking for a kimura but Machin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Suulas to get the leverage.
Machin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suulas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suulas's back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Machin looking for the choke but no joy.
Suulas turns into Machin and is now in his guard.

Suulas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Machin, up you get!

Suulas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Machin was covering up waiting for the punch and Suulas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Machin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Machin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Suulas controls the pace.
Machin looking to control.
Suulas stands and throws Machin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Suulas looking to control but instead Machin has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Machin works his way to full guard. Good work.
Suulas working some strikes from top position.
Machin has momentary wrist control but Suulas slips an elbow through the middle.
Suulas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Machin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Machin controls Suulas momentarily but Suulas frees himself.
Machin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Suulas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Suulas connects with a couple of short punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Suulas landing some decent shots from guard.
Suulas is looking to work some ground and pound but Machin has wrist control.
Suulas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Machin can't keep his opponent in guard - Suulas advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Suulas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Machin!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tarmo Suulas dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Suulas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Machin.
Machin shoots in looking for a takedown but Suulas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Machin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Suulas counters with a shoot takedown. Machin fights it but they end up in guard.

Machin working for a triangle but Suulas defends it easily.

Machin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Suulas defends well.
Suulas sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Suulas scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Machin lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Suulas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Suulas chips away with some ground and pound.
Suulas tries to free his leg and advance position but Machin is retaining full guard.

Machin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suulas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Suulas wants to pass the guard but Machin is keeping the position.
Suulas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Suulas is working Machin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Suulas lands a couple of elbows.

Suulas is posturing up here but Machin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Suulas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Suulas has to tap! Slick submission there by Machin!
