The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyrkki jabs Virta to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Virta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nyrkki was well out of range. Poor timing from Virta.
Nyrkki looks for a takedown but Virta sprawls well.
Nyrkki clobbers Virta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Virta lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Kake Nyrkki has been cut.
Virta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Virta pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Virta doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Virta lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nyrkki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Virta.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Virta wants to clinch up but Nyrkki keeps it at a distance.

It looks like Ara Virta has been cut.
Virta misses with a looping left.
Virta moves out of range as Nyrkki throws a body kick.
Ara Virta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Virta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nyrkki circles away quickly and effectively.
Nyrkki throws a body punch but Virta moves out of range.
Virta cracks Nyrkki with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nyrkki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Virta lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Virta feints a jab promting Nyrkki to slip. Virta then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nyrkki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nyrkki is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Virta connects with a single shot there.
Virta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nyrkki stalks Virta and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Virta's face. Virta staggers backwards, shaken.
Virta takes a jab right on the kisser.

Virta is rocked!
Nyrkki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Virta.
Nyrkki works the jab nicely.
Oh Virta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nyrkki throws an overhand right that drops Virta like a sack of potatoes! Nyrkki dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
