The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rico cracks Rossi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Rossi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Giorgio Rossi wasn't active enough on the ground.
Rossi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rico pinned against the cage. Rico gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rico stuffs the takedown attempt from Rossi. Rossi gets slowly back to his feet.
Rico lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Rossi is rocked!
Rico ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Rossi's jaw. Rossi's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rico does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
