PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aemon Targaryen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceaser Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen the game as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Targaryen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Targaryen persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Targaryen ducks right into an uppercut from Davis.
Targaryen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Targaryen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Targaryen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aemon Targaryen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Davis dives in and grabs Targaryen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Targaryen pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.
Targaryen shoots in but Davis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Targaryen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Davis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Targaryen has Davis in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Targaryen pushes a forearm under Davis's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Davis is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
