The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sword throws a hook but Hoivunen avoids it easily.
Sword shoots in but Hoivunen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sword is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hoivunen.

Hoivunen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sword.
Hoivunen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hoivunen throws a series of punches but Sword avoids them all with ease.
Hoivunen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sword to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
