The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Karev.
Jan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Karev's calf.
Karev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jan.
Karev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Oleg Karev has been cut.
Jan misses with a straight left.
Karev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Karev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Karev swings for the body but Jan moves out of range.

Karev tried to score with a low kick but Jan checks it.

Jan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Karev avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Jan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jan. Karev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Karev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jan doesn't seem bothered though.
Jan stuns Karev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Jan bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Karev comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Jan falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Jan was out before he hit the floor!
