Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Doby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doby's entrance music is International Players Anthem. A fine choice. Spar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ringo Spar has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ringo Spar!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doby defending well as Spar loads up on a big left hand.
Doby slips a straight right by Spar.
Doby looks to score with a jab to the body but Spar is just out of range.
Spar misses with a lunging right hand
and Doby counters with a nice uppercut.
Doby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spar moves away.
Doby throws a good cross that connects.
Spar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doby moves away.
Doby fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Spar checks it well.
Doby moves away from the strike by Spar.
The crowd cheers as Spar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Doby doesn't seem phased though.
Ringo Spar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Spar misses.
Doby tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Spar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Doby lands with a good body shot.
Doby throws out a leg kick but Spar moves out of range and Doby only half commits.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doby walks into a jab.


It looks like Shane Doby has been cut.
Spar throws a hook to the side of Doby's head but Doby sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Doby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spar throws out the jab.
Spar throws a series of punches but Doby moves out of range.
Doby will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Spar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Doby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Spar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Doby.
Doby misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doby closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spar circles away.
Doby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spar circles away quickly and effectively.
Doby uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spar.
Spar misses the jab.
Spar scores with a sloppy right hand. Doby should have avoided that one.
Ringo Spar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doby throws the kick towards the body but Spar avoids it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Spar jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Spar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Spar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Doby lands a jab to Spar's midsection.
Doby misses with a wild combination.
Doby scores with a shot to the body.
Doby listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doby clinches with his opponent.

Spar manages to break the clinch.
Spar stuffs the takedown attempt from Doby. Doby gets slowly back to his feet.
Doby misses with a body shot.
An inside leg kick from Spar misses.
Doby misses with a wild body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Doby.
Doby thows a body shot but no joy.
Spar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doby sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Spar takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Spar thows a body shot but no joy.
Spar misses with a straight right.
Doby thows a body shot but no joy.
Doby shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spar but Spar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Doby. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doby closes the distance and clinches up with Spar, looking for a takedown. Doby pushes Spar against the cage but Spar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Doby is breathing heavily.
Doby cracks Spar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Spar cracks Doby with a right hand to the side of the head.
Doby is looking to wear down Spar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Spar throws a low kick, looking for Doby's leg but Doby calmly moves out of range.
Doby scores with a jab to the body.
Good leg kick by Doby there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Doby dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Spar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Spar throws a shot to the body.
Spar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


Doby is rocked!
Doby checks a leg kick.
Oh Doby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spar fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Doby seems to have got his legs back now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spar fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Doby to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Doby looks to clinch but Spar throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Doby taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ringo Spar!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Ringo Spar waved his t-shirt featuring Canadian Fighter Clothing's logo in front of the cameras.
