The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to clinch up but Obsut circles away and keeps his distance.
Thompson throws a series of punches but Obsut avoids them all with ease.
Obsut fails with a takedown attempt.
Thompson closes the distance and clinches.
Thompson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Obsut tries to score a body lock takedown but Thompson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Obsut drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thompson pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Obsut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Obsut tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thompson was well out of range. Poor timing from Obsut.

Thompson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Obsut is rocked!
It looks like Fedor Obsut has been cut.
Thompson jerks Obsut's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Obsut drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Thompson goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Thompson because Obsut was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
