The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muerte takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Muerte tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramirez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ramirez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Muerte closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ramirez to the mat! Ramirez manages to get full guard.
Ramirez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Muerte passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Muerte moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Muerte is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ramirez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
