Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis DaMennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucius Lycan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DaMennis comes into the arena with Lonely Island - I'm on a Boat (ft. T-Pain) blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaMennis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lycan tries to clinch up but DaMennis circles away and keeps his distance.

DaMennis is looking to clinch but Lycan is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Lycan or perhaps it was just good defense by DaMennis which made him look bad.
DaMennis wants to clinch.
Lycan closes this distance looking for a takedown but DaMennis circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

DaMennis jumps guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lycan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
DaMennis wants to sweep but no luck.

Lycan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! DaMennis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! DaMennis has escaped and now he's on top!
Lycan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
DaMennis wants to pass the guard but Lycan is keeping the position.
DaMennis preventing the sweep.

DaMennis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lycan, up you get!
Lycan wants to clinch

and DaMennis counters with a shoot takedown. Lycan fights it but they end up in guard.

Lycan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
DaMennis trying to control the position from guard on top but Lycan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lycan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
DaMennis preventing the sweep.
Lycan looks gassed!
DaMennis wants to control from the top but Lycan keeps moving.

DaMennis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lycan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of DaMennis, into his guard.

Lycan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

DaMennis has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lycan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Lycan doesn't succeed with the takedown

and DaMennis counters by clinching up.
Dennis DaMennis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucius Lycan.
Lycan takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lycan fails to pull the fight into his guard.

DaMennis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
DaMennis tries to clinch but Lycan is having none of it.
DaMennis throws a leg kick which misses Lycan's front leg but catches the back leg as Lycan tries to avoid it.
DaMennis doesn't manage to clinch there - Lycan circles away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and DaMennis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by DaMennis.

Lycan is rocked!
DaMennis lands a big knee to the head and Lycan goes down! DaMennis pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
