Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver comes to the ring accompanied by Run To The Hills (Iron Maiden). Jack Carver could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Terry Tyler's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Carver shoots in and drives through. Tyler sprawls well.
Tyler fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Carver checks it well.

Carver darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Tyler looking for submissions off his back.
Tyler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carver is thwarting Tyler's attempts to control the position.
Tyler keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Carver wants to work for an arm triangle but Tyler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Carver is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tyler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carver.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Carver drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carver might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tyler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carver is one step ahead there.
Tyler manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Carver tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tyler tries to control but Carver wriggling away.
Tyler lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Carver hang on?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Despite being in the dominant position, Terry Tyler just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyler tries to score with a low kick but Carver moves his leg out of the way.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tyler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carver moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Carver will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nice takedown defense from Carver. No joy for Tyler on that attempt.

Tyler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Carver thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tyler is trying to control the position but Carver postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Carver.
Tyler is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tyler is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carver's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carver's back!

Carver is trying to defend against the choke here but Tyler has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Tyler Tightens the hold and Carver taps out furiously! Tyler displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
