The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pignon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones cracks Pignon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pignon fails with the takedown.
Jones lands a jab-cross combination.
Boy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pignon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Pignon shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francois Pignon.
