The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cooke lands a big uppercut and Barcinas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Barcinas looks OK. Cooke waves Barcinas back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cooke shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.

Barcinas is rocked!
Cooke slips nicely into half guard.
Barcinas is still in real trouble! Can Cooke finish him?

Cooke decides to stand up.
Barcinas gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Cooke points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Barcinas wakes up just in time to hear Cooke thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Cooke!
After winning the bout, Eric Cooke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
