Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mug Costanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crocas Kite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kite tries for a takedown but Costanza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kite instigates a clinch.
Kite is looking to take this one to the mat.
Costanza tries to break the clinch but Kite is controlling the position.

Kite is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like Mug Costanza has been cut.

Costanza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kite is fighting to break Costanza's control of his arms but Costanza is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mug Costanza just wasn't active enough.

Kite fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Costanza.
Kite leaves Costanza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Mug Costanza will probably get the nod.

Kite wants to clinch.
Costanza on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kite. Kite obviously looking to wear him down.
Kite tries to score a power double leg takedown but Costanza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kite somewhat.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Costanza seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kite for as long as he can get away with.
Crocas Kite has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Costanza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
