The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fidel forces McRent back against the cage and clinches.
Fidel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McRent.
McRent has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fidel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
McRent goes for a takedown attempt but Fidel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lurk McRent. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McRent shoots in looking for a takedown. Fidel tries to sprawl out of it but McRent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fidel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McRent fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McRent drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fidel breaks from the clinch.
McRent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fidel as he avoids it easily.
McRent is breathing heavily.
McRent shoots in but Fidel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fidel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

McRent is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Fidel knocks McRent out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
