The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tenorio shoots in looking for a takedown. P Pereira tries to sprawl out of it but Tenorio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. P Pereira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tenorio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but P Pereira circles away quickly and effectively.

Tenorio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Tenorio gets control of P Pereira's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tenorio will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

P Pereira tries to clinch there but Tenorio circles away.
Thiago P Pereira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sloppy strikes from Tenorio. Those never looked like landing.

Tenorio has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
P Pereira has Tenorio pressed against the cage, preventing Tenorio from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

P Pereira is trying to maintain a safe position but Tenorio gets an underhook and turns P Pereira into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tenorio wants to break free but P Pereira has control.

Tenorio ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tenorio no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

P Pereira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tenorio manages to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
P Pereira lands with an uppercut that bounces Tenorio off the cage and back into range.

Tenorio stalks P Pereira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into P Pereira's face. P Pereira staggers backwards, shaken.
Tenorio looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tenorio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
P Pereira tries to close the distance and clinch but Tenorio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Tenorio counters with a one-two to the body.
Tenorio connects with a right that clearly hurt P Pereira. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Tenorio proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till P Pereira collapses and taps out under the pressure!
