Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuyo Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jawana Die (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitsuyo Kano could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jawana Die 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitsuyo Kano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jawana Die !
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Die tries to clinch up.
Kano has managed to clinch.
Kano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kano jabs at Die 's body.
Die gets a takedown into half guard.
Die thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kano to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Die pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kano is keeping the position for now.
Die stays in close to Kano's body and controls the position.
Kano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Die on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kano wants to sweep but no luck.
Die is pushing down on Kano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kano is fighting to maintain full guard but Die has managed to sneak the leg through.

Die uses his free foot to push down on Kano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kano.
Kano is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kano is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kano wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Die .
Die tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kano prevents Die from taking his back.
Die looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Die wants to finish this one by submission but Kano is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Die .
Die moves to back control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kano trying to control the position but Die manages to sink in the hooks.
Die is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kano has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Die has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kano taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Die doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jawana Die !
