Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sawyer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is MegaDeth- This Day We FIGHT!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez shoots and misses
and Sawyer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alvarez won't be happy with that.

Sawyer is looking for a choke. Alvarez gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Alvarez manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Sawyer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alvarez sprawls well initially but Sawyer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
