Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mic Krilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ego Draconis. Krilla has chosen A Tribe Called Quest - Buggin' Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Bane.

Krilla uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bane has time to react.
Bane throws a combination. Krilla tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Xavier Bane has been cut.
Bane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krilla's waist but Krilla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bane off to one side.

Bane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Xavier Bane will probably get the nod.

Krilla looks to land a combination. Bane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Krilla counters with a three punch combo that has Bane backing up. Bane nods at Krilla to acknowledge the strikes.
Krilla tries to bum rush Bane with a series of wild strikes but Bane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krilla tries to avoid it but Bane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krilla to the ground. Krilla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Krilla throws an overhand right that lands on Bane's shoulder, as Bane tries to avoid the shot.

Bane shoots in looking for a takedown but Krilla manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oh, another knee lands and Bane is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Bane doesn't seem to be complaining.
