Evans comes into the arena with KRS-One Step into a World blaring out of the sound system. Rashad Evans had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Evans. That did some damage!
Rekka moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rekka rushes Evans and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rekka has Evans pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Evans is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Rekka - that's hurt Evans badly! Oh, another knee lands and Evans is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Evans doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Liha Rekka!
