The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JinJu thuds a left hand into Askren's body.

Askren feints and as JinJu raises his hands in defense, Askren changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

JinJu is looking for a triangle but Askren pushes his legs off easily.

JinJu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Askren is aware though and is defending well.
Askren has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

JinJu is looking for a triangle but Askren pushes his legs off easily.

Askren wants to get up but he can't break JinJu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

JinJu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Askren can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Askren makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

JinJu looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Askren is defending well. JinJu quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Askren has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! JinJu celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Bin JinJu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
