Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rey Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keimah Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dama has chosen Seek n Destroy as his entrance music. Keimah Dama has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rey Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keimah Dama!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roy pinned against the cage. Roy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dama throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roy's waist but Roy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dama off to one side.
Dama connects with a looping right hand.
Dama throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Roy slips a jab and a cross from Dama.
Roy tries to clinch up but Dama circles away and keeps his distance.
Roy fails with a takedown attempt.
Dama misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roy tried to score with a low kick but Dama checks it.
Keimah Dama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dama shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Roy eats them both and turns towards Dama to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

enabling Dama to counter with a crisp jab.
Roy throws a series of punches but Dama moves out of range.
Dama lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Roy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Roy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Roy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dama's efforts to push away.
Dama is pressed up against the cage. Roy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dama down to the mat. Dama avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Roy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Roy leaves Dama with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roy but Roy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dama closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dama lands in his opponent's guard.
Dama looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Roy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Roy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Roy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Roy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roy keeping moving, preventing Dama from controlling successfully.
Roy controls Dama momentarily but Dama frees himself.
Dama looking to pass the guard.
Roy wants to control but Dama passes easily into half guard.

Roy is in trouble now - Dama has advanced to mount!
Dama trying to control but Roy is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keimah Dama dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Left hook, right uppercut from Dama.
Roy looks for a takedown but Dama sprawls well.
Dama throws a right hand that Roy ducks under and follows up with a left that Roy also avoids with ease.
Roy keeps the fight on the outside.
Rey Roy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dama misses with the combination.
Dama misses with a low kick as Roy jumps back.
Dama lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dama wants to clinch up but Roy keeps it at a distance.

and Dama counters with a crisp one two that drops Roy! Dama thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Roy to his feet! Roy is in big trouble!

Dama scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dama is breathing heavily.

Dama is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dama tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roy swivels and escapes.
Roy misses with a takedown attempt - Dama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roy but Roy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rey Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keimah Dama.
Dama bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Roy's head.
Dama jabs Roy right on the nose. Roy blinks but takes it well.

Roy takes the fight into the clinch.

Roy gets control of Dama's arms and successfully pulls guard. Roy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Roy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dama's guard.

Dama working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dama not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Roy wants to pass the guard but Dama is keeping the position.
Dama is trying to control the position but Roy postures up.
Dama is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Roy gets to his feet. Dama looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Roy closes the distance and clinches up with Dama, looking for a takedown. Roy pushes Dama against the cage but Dama circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dama is defended easily by Roy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roy has an active guard here but Dama has managed to pass into half guard.
Roy is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dama jumps into side control!

Keimah Dama showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Roy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dama as he jumps to the side.

Dama lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Roy backs up against the cage.
Roy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dama scores with a one two! Roy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Roy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dama fails with a takedown attempt.
Dama connects with a body shot that sends Roy's belly button to the back.
Roy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dama shoots in for a takedown but Roy shows good takedown defense.

Dama goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dama tries a head kick but it misses.

Roy clinches.
Keimah Dama is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dama wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Roy misses with a hook to the ribs.
Roy stalling in the clinch but Dama improves position.
Dama wants to take the fight to the mat but Roy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Roy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A left and a right from Dama both land. Nice combination.

Dama rushes Roy and presses him up against the cage.

Dama escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dama.

Roy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Roy showed some decent athleticism there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roy misses with a head shot. Dama uses the momentum to regain guard.
Rey Roy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
