The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitus displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Burns Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jitus thows a body shot but no joy.
Burns Jr tries for a takedown but Jitus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jitus throws a right and a left that both miss.
Burns Jr tries to land a front kick but Jitus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Burns Jr works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jitus avoids the head kick by Burns Jr.
Some wild striking there from Jitus.
Burns Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Jitus moves out of range easily.
Burns Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jitus.
Jitus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Burns Jr.
Burns Jr throws out a loose jab but Jitus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burns Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jitus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jitus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burns Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jitus avoids a kick to the body.
Jitus throws a jab when Burns Jr was well out of range.
Burns Jr takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Burns Jr takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jitus blocks a head kick by Burns Jr.
Burns Jr slips a jab and a cross from Jitus.
Jitus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Burns Jr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jitus to the mat! Jitus manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jitus keeping moving, preventing Burns Jr from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Simba Burns Jr hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jitus misses with a two punch combination.

Jitus throws a right hand that Burns Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Burns Jr also avoids with ease.
Burns Jr cracks Jitus with a good jab.
It looks like Mc Jitus has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns Jr is looking to slow Jitus down with leg kicks.
Jitus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Burns Jr. Burns Jr obviously looking to wear him down.
Jitus is breathing heavily.
Jitus takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jitus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mc Jitus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burns Jr lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Burns Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Burns Jr circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jitus drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Burns Jr follows Jitus to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
