The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kovacks sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Johnson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kovacks breaks from Johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like Kyle Johnson has been cut.
Kovacks throwing strikes here but Johnson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kovacks thowing shots but they're missing.
Kovacks looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Johnson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
