Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama moves away from the strike by Gracie.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.
Funkyama throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
A punch lands to the side of Gracie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Funkyama thows a body shot but no joy.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Funkyama circles away.
Funkyama connects with a right hand. Gracie shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Funkyama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Funkyama misses the shot to the body.
Funkyama will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie throws a big shot that misses.
Funkyama looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gracie really is a fat lump.
Funkyama connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie misses with a body shot
and Funkyama counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Funkyama tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Funkyama throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Funkyama scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie switches off momentarily and Funkyama cracks him with a monster right hand! Gracie topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Funkyama dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Funkyama!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fedor Funkyama!
