PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wszebor Swiatlovod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Survivor - Eyes of The Tiger. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Power misses with an uppercut.
Power shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Swiatlovod defends it nicely.
Power scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Power lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Swiatlovod slips a jab and a cross from Power.
Swiatlovod uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Power.
A bone on bone clash there as Swiatlovod blocks the leg kick.
Power fails with the takedown.
Swiatlovod takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Power scores with a jab to the body.

Swiatlovod shoots in and gets a takedown into Power's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Swiatlovod wants to stand but Power is controlling his posture from full guard.

Power looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Swiatlovod avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Swiatlovod controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Power looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Swiatlovod has picked Power up and slammed him! Power can't keep hold of the triangle and Swiatlovod manages to pass to side control!

Swiatlovod decides to stand up, so the ref orders Power to his feet.
Swiatlovod swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Power.
A combination from Power does no damage.
Swiatlovod defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Power.
Wszebor Swiatlovod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Power.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Power tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Swiatlovod was well out of range. Poor timing from Power.
Swiatlovod takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Swiatlovod misses with a straight left.

Swiatlovod moves into the clinch.

Swiatlovod has hold of one of Power's legs. Power is fighting the takedown attempt but Swiatlovod gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Swiatlovod got a little sloppy there for a moment and Power has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Swiatlovod has managed to get both his arms back between Power's legs - danger averted.

Power isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Swiatlovod stacks Power on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Swiatlovod!
Power seems a little lost for a moment, as Swiatlovod dominates the positioning.
Power tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Swiatlovod wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Power is not content to let Swiatlovod control the position.

Power throws Swiatlovod to one side and escapes!
Power throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Power enables Swiatlovod to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Power manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Swiatlovod pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Power is keeping the position for now.

Power has his feet on Swiatlovod's thighs here. He's pushed Swiatlovod off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Swiatlovod screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
