Mathers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Square Dance. Summers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Conflict-Disturbed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Mathers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Summers looks to throw the jab but Mathers is out of range.
Mathers slips a jab and a cross from Summers.
Summers works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mathers thows a left - swing and a miss!
Summers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Summers throws a hook but Mathers avoids it easily.
Mathers avoids the body shot from Summers.
Mathers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Mathers.
Mathers throws a leg kick but Summers checks it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mathers.
Summers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mathers attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Summers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Nice straight punches there by Mathers. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mathers.
Mathers fakes the leg kick and cracks Summers in the body.

Summers darts in and clinches Mathers up against the cage.
Mathers blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Summers.

Mathers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mathers just misses with a punch to the body.
Summers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mathers pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Summers back to the cage. Mathers follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Summers misses the jab.
Mathers throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Summers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Summers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Summers slips a jab from Mathers.

Mathers throws out a loose jab but Summers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mathers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Summers.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Mathers.
Mathers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Summers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mathers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Mathers scores with a hook.
Summers swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mathers counters with an outside leg kick.
Mathers throws a right and a left that both miss.
Summers thows a body shot but no joy.
Summers has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Mathers.
Mathers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Summers backs up against the cage.
Mathers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mathers thows a leg kick but Summers checks it
and Summers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mathers thinking.
Summers sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mathers tries to land a front kick but Summers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mathers throws a leg kick which misses Summers's front leg but catches the back leg as Summers tries to avoid it.
Mathers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Summers lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Summers moves out of range of the body kick.
Summers takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mathers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Summers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mathers circles away.

Mathers takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mathers tries to score with a low kick but Summers moves his leg out of the way.
Summers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Summers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mathers's head backwards.

Mathers tries to bum rush Summers with a series of wild strikes but Summers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mathers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Summers's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Mathers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Summers just misses with a punch to the body.
Summers moves out of range as Mathers throws a body kick.

Summers throws a hook to the side of Mathers's head but Mathers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Summers sizes up Mathers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Summers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mathers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mathers loads up on a big right hand but Summers slips the punch.
Mathers throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Summers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marshall Mathers is winning the standup battle so far.
Mathers throws a hook but Summers avoids it easily.
Mathers connects with a leg kick. Summers looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mathers throws a wild body kick that Summers sees coming a mile off.

Mathers tests Summers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mathers ducks under a wild hook from Summers.

Mathers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


Summers is rocked!
Mathers looks to throw the jab but Summers is out of range.
Summers is still on wobbly legs! Can Mathers finish him?
Summers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mathers.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Mathers throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Summers is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
