Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nicolas De Ertu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Biff McKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Ertu tries for a takedown but McKenzie circles away easily

and McKenzie moves into the clinch.

McKenzie tightens his grip and picks De Ertu up, before dumping him to the ground. De Ertu manages to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
De Ertu wants to sweep but no luck.

De Ertu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McKenzie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

De Ertu is looking for a triangle but McKenzie pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKenzie distracts De Ertu with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
McKenzie slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

McKenzie gets to his feet - De Ertu follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Ertu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and McKenzie counters with a nice double leg into side control. De Ertu won't be happy with that.
A lull in the action here as McKenzie stalls from top position.
De Ertu wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
De Ertu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McKenzie on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McKenzie moves into full mount!
McKenzie controlling the pace for now.

McKenzie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McKenzie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
De Ertu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
McKenzie content just to control the position here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McKenzie lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

McKenzie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force De Ertu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so De Ertu shrugs it off.
McKenzie looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
De Ertu is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! McKenzie has taken his back!
Good control from McKenzie.

De Ertu won't enjoy being in this position. McKenzie looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - De Ertu is tapping - it's over boys! McKenzie picks up the submission victory!
